The word limits for each category are the following:

• Up to 500 words for fiction and non-fiction in Group 1
• Up to 1000 words for fiction and non-fiction in Group 2
• Up to 1500 words for fiction and non-fiction in Group 3
• Up to 3000 words for fiction and non-fiction in Group 4

Poetry and submissions from students with Different Learning Abilities can be of any length.
